I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Starkman and his entire team. I am currently seven weeks out from my deep plane facelift, upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer, and neck lift, and I am already beyond thrilled with my results. Growing older and losing significant weight are the two reasons I chose to recently have my facial rejuvenation surgery.. I spent over a year researching surgeon websites and social media posts that led me to Dr Starkman. First of all, Dr Starkman’s practice website is the most comprehensive and informative website of any of the numerous sites I spent time researching. It is masterfully written and reflects the professional expertise and kindness that is truly apparent from the moment you meet Dr Starkman and his team. I also wanted a surgeon who only worked on faces and was dual board certified. My husband and I were in complete agreement about choosing Dr Starkman after meeting him and several members of his team during my consultation. Dr Starkman and I agreed to a full face rejuvenation including deep plane face and neck lifts. My surgery was 6 1/2 hours and I had zero pain recovering, though plenty of swelling and tightness. I followed all the after care instructions exactly as prescribed and I am now almost eight weeks post surgery, I am delighted with my early results and my family and friends tell me I look refreshed but like myself. I had a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Starkman and I don’t even know where to begin because my experience was just incredible. Most people who want an elective surgery do a lot of research first and I of course had my top 3 facial surgeons in my area who I was considering for surgery. They all had great results in their gallery, similar cost, credentials etc, but what stood out with Dr Starkman were his patient coordinators. Erika and Annie were both so kind, patient and had great communication. The first time I met Dr. Starkman was at my consultation. He is a busy man as most surgeons are, but he spent an extensive amount of time with me to figure out what outcome I wanted and what would be realistic for my face. I honestly thought I would meet with him for a brief time but he spent 45 minutes with me. I was so impressed with his confidence, time and patience, as well as the education he provided about facial balance. I knew he was the one I wanted my surgery performed by. Once I booked my surgery date, the entire team communicated clearly with me through the whole process and at my 2 week pre op appointment, I was provided detailed recovery instructions and given a bag with every medication and all medical supplies I needed to recover with. I never had to go to a pharmacy as the office provided me with everything! This was so impressive and convenient! The night before surgery Dr. Starkman called me personally to discuss the process for the next day and asked how I was feeling. This truly eased any anxiety I was feeling. Surgery day was seamless. My nurse was amazing, the anesthesiologist was amazing and before I knew it, it was over and I was going home. I had zero pain recovering and a week later I had my cast removed. It has now been 7 weeks since surgery and my nose looks better every single day. I can not thank him enough! Dr. Starkman is a true artist, he’s so talented and my dramatic yet natural result is something I could have never imagined. Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience! And to Dr. Starkman for his work of art! I would recommend him over and over!
