I had a very unfortunate experience during my first facial at this establishment. I came in after traveling and booked a clarifying facial with microdermabrasion, which I regularly get as a reset for my skin. Shortly after my appointment at the beginning of October, I developed severe, painful, and immediate breakouts. When I called back with concerns, I was told this was normal “purging,” even though it felt unusual to me. Three months later, I am still dealing with the infection and am now undergoing months of treatment with a dermatologist, including antibiotics. This has required significant time, money, and caused a great deal of discomfort and stress, and it has had a serious impact on my self-esteem and personal life after months of severe breakouts. On top of this, the facial itself was very expensive for what it was. I chose this establishment because it appeared reputable and I believe in investing in my skin, but when I reached out to explain what happened, I felt dismissed and was instead encouraged to book additional services. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and costly experience. Definitely would not recommend. Edit: Forgot to mention that I was also very uncomfortable with how my payment information was handled. When booking, I explicitly marked that I did not want my card saved on file. However, when I arrived, my card had already been saved. I raised this concern with the receptionist, but after a prolonged discussion I was told it was their policy and that I had to leave my card on file. I am still upset that my card information was saved without my consent, and I had to call after my appointment to request that it be deleted. I can only hope that it was.
