I had a great experience with Kaylee! I’ve been to Pure a couple times before and always have had a great experience, but hadn’t had Kaylee before. She’s very gentle and my lip filler didn’t hurt nearly as bad as it usually does for me! Results looked so good and minimal swelling. She is super nice and knowledgeable as well!

Isabelle is absolutely amazing! She is so professional, gentle, and truly knows what she’s doing. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and explained everything clearly. I recently contacted Pure MedSpa to request charting from a filler appointment I had about two years ago. I needed this information so I could accurately inform my new injector out of state, since filler placement is a medical procedure and proper documentation is essential for safety. I was shocked when the staff member on the phone told me there were no notes at all in my profile. As a healthcare professional myself, I find this extremely concerning. Any reputable medical or aesthetic practice should maintain clear, accessible charting on every patient—especially for injectable procedures. The lack of documentation left me unsure of exactly where my filler had been placed. I know I received 0.75 ml in my lips, and the remainder was used around my mouth area, but without charting I’m unable to provide accurate details. I was told they would speak with the injector and call me back with more information, but I never received a follow up call. Overall, this experience left me very disappointed and upset. Accurate records are a basic standard in medical aesthetics, and I hope the clinic takes this seriously and improves their documentation and communication practices. If you’re considering injectables head warning. There is no proper documentation.

Refreshed my glabellar Botox and lip flip today and I can’t speak highly enough about the team, their professionalism, excellence, and generally how grateful I am for Pure Med Spa! I’ve been getting tox and filler for several years now prior to moving to Chicago, and have never had a better experience. I had filler and tox updated prior to my wedding in May and was SO excited with my results. Highly recommend!!

I went into Pure Med Spa only because it was the only place open on a Sunday and I wanted to get my lips done before the start of the week. I was already skeptical after reading the reviews, but since most of the complaints were about Botox rather than filler, I decided to take a chance. When I checked in, the receptionist slathered numbing cream on my lips in the waiting room, she got it all over my teeth and my throat was numb for a couple hours after. The injector came out about 10 minutes later and she said it was her first time in the river north office. The first red flag was that she didn’t even know how to move the chair up at that point I already felt uneasy, but it felt too late to walk out. Another thing that seemed off was that they used two different syringes with only half in each. After reading the reviews about them diluting their botox, this seems unusual. She injected lidocaine block into my top lips without telling me the reason, the whole process felt rushed and just unprofessional. There was no technique used during the injections, and I ended up extremely bruised. A full month later, I still have three blood vessels that seem bruised, the size of my lips look basically unchanged, and there is some filler that seems to have migrated above my lips. I was given no aftercare instructions besides not using a straw (which I still haven't) and I avoided sleeping in any position that would risk migration. Overall, this was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience, and I wouldn’t return for filler here or anything really.
